I finished this book a couple of days ago and.... Nothing. I didn't feel anything towards it. I admit, I loved the first book up until Luke's arrest. It felt like she just wanted to do a sequel so she looked for ideas. And she found it...Kinda...Not reallY. (But that's another review..)Anyway, this book tells the story of Jesse, Luke, Mikey and De. It tells it from their POV.
Up until the point where Jesse and Luke reunited it felt a little rushed. It felt like I was reading a summery of the book and not the actual one. Which sucked.
Now lets talk about Jesse dating someone that's old enough to be her father.
I mean, sure sometimes you choose the person you fall in love with and I don't have a problem with older guys. Ok I do, because if they were potty trained the same year as your father did, then something is wrong here. But what really bothered me here was her dad's reaction, or lack of for that matter. He just told her: well ok, have fun. If it was my dad he would've killed us both. That's how much he loves me ;)
Jail. A wonderful place, so magical. Not.
How can they all move on so fast from those two horrible years he spent there?! I just don't get it...
Another thing that bothered me was that she totally ruined Jesse's character. I mean, yeah ok she grew up and matured, but she didn't have to make her a bitch!!! When Alexa came to apologise-- I know she did s***ty things to her, but she's not supposed to bite her head off and act like a bitch to her when she tells her how sorry she is for acting like she did and congrats on her engagement blah blah blah. She should've said: thank you. I forgive you... It totally ruins Jesse for me.
What I did like is De and Mikey's relationship!!!! I just love Mikey! He is such a fun and happy character That I soon fell in love with him.. Haha
Maybe I liked their parts better because it was a new relationship, and I love those stories!
I don't really recommend for you guys to read this. But if you really want to know what happens to them then go on. That's why I read it. I guess if I wasn't curious to what would happen after Luke's arrest and stuff I would have never read it.
She should have had an happy ending in the first one and then make a spin off about De and Mikey. Would have been better.

5 STARS!!! I loved this book! It wrapped up the love story that started in "The Game Changer" between Luke and Jesse. Their love was an incredibly heart wrenching emotional journey proving that love can survive time, distance and devastating heartache as long as there's a spark of hope. Truly an amazing story!
I loved The Game Changer By L M Trio so I couldn't wait to read The Final Score. I found the storyline very predictable in this book, he gets out jail, gets the girl back, lives happily everafter.I also found it very choppy because it moves onto Mickeys story to get his girl. I think it would have been better to make them 2 separate stories. It was an a good read, just not as good as the first book.
Not what I was hoping for. First Luke is a whiny little b..thing. Second both Luke and Mickey making decisions concerning the women the supposedly love without talking to them was damn irritating to read. After the way Luke left things in the first book I felt like there should have been more groveling on his part. The childish games between Mickey and De was just ugh! Grow the eff up! Oh! and the pregnancy scare WEAK! The resolution totally unbelievable
I loved it! I have been anticipating the books release! After the way the first book ended....I had to know what happened. This is definitely a must read. The characters are unique and the challenges they over come are also unique, but in a way easy to relate to. I loved this book even more than the first one! L.M. Trio did an absolute amazing job telling this story of young love and the struggles that come with it. My advice to other readers is to definitely READ THE FIRST BOOK. These books will definitely not be a wasted read!
I loved how everything was tied up and you get a nice epilogue! This was a cute series that was fun to read. Told in all POV for this last book which was awesome! I thought I couldn't like Mikey any more!
Loved the sequel as much as the first. Hearing from all four POV's was good for me. I enjoyed Mikey and De as much as JJ and Luke. Mikey especially. It was great seeing him finally make the right decision for himself and for the love of his life.
There was growth, passion, heartbreak, angst.
This books picks up where the first left off and we see how all the characters are adjusting to the unfortunate circumstances that ended the first book. These four characters have a great chemistry, bond, and love for one another.

I have waited for this book everyday, I checked to see if it was out and let me tell you....like others the only negative is, that it's over! L.M. Trio did it again...I was afraid of the sequel but, it's very good! I read it and kept going back to my note marks and basically rereading all over again! I love Luke and JJ & she added Mikey & De's story all of her characters are unforgettable. I love how she portrayed tight family and overall good values of what love, friendship and family is all about. Unbelievably good! This will be on my top faves!
